On August 2nd, a labeling requirement for AI content took effect in Brussels and in California on the very same day. China got there a year earlier, and the UK still has no law at all. The three models differ on one crucial point, and that point decides who ends up doing the work: only the EU puts the obligation directly on the people who publish.
